The Guatemala Book Project
“The need of the Mayan people is great, but they are lovingly generous out of their poverty.”
This year I have the unique opportunity to photograph a Guatemalan family with the intent of producing a children’s book. It will illustrate a day in the life of a Mayan child. The will aim to increase awareness of differences and similarities of children around the world, and to inspire children, parents and families to support mission work. All of the book proceeds will go directly to the House of Healing Foundation. (see below for information on this mission)

About the House of Healing Foundation
The House of Healing Foundation was established in 2014 with a vision to serve as a medical clinic for the local indigenous population of San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala, and to provide accommodations for a continuous flow of volunteer healthcare workers and mission teams.
